Ordering flowers from
BuyAustralian.com is easy.
We have partnered with the Petals Florist Network
to provide you with convienient access to hundreds
of Australian florists.
The product prices will always be displayed in
Australian Dollars.
You can view an enlargement of the product picture
by clicking on the 'more info' button.
When you have made your selection click the 'Buy
Now' button to complete the order details.
You will now enter our secure payment pages.
On this screen you will be required to enter your
delivery details, the value of your order and credit
card details.
Any value entered that is in excess of the minimum
price recommended will enhance the size and inclusions
of the flower or gift order.
Complete the order form, making sure that you complete
the * required fields.

Order Confirmation |

Once you have completed the order
information click the 'Continue' button at the bottom
of the form. At this stage you are not actually
submitting your order.
On the next page you will be asked to review your
order before submitting it for processing.
If you wish to make any changes you can click the
back button and edit your order.
Once you have clicked the final 'Send Order' button
you will be shown a confirmation page and a receipt
number.
You may like to print this page, although if you
are using Netscape you may have problems printing.
The alternative that we recommend is to make a note
of the receipt number for future reference.
You will receive an email from Petals confirming
that your order has been received or processed.

the world. Every effort is made to deliver flowers
and gifts on the day requested and in a condition
that reflects the high standards set by Petals for
its network of florists and floral relay organisations.

| Cancellations |
|
Petals Network cannot cancel any order
that has already been made up by the supplying florist,
even if the florist has not delivered the order.
If the cancellation request is made before make up,
then Petals may be able to cancel the order. However
Petals cannot guarantee that the can be cancelled.

| Substitution
Policy |
|
Petals Network Pty Ltd and its
Members reserve the right to make fair and reasonable
substitutions according to the practical availability
of specific flower types and containers worldwide.
This document outlines the Petals' Policy for Order
Substitutions as a guideline for florist Members.
When a florist Member receives a flower order from
Petals Network, every effort must be made to create
an arrangement of the shape, size and colour and
using any flower varieties specified, according
to the order description. Specific flower types
may be indicated on the order, either by actual
description or in the content of an item from the
Petals Network Selection Guide.
In the case where a specific flower type or colour
is unavailable within the given time frame of delivery,
substitutions may be made within the arrangement
to achieve the same overall shape, style and colour
effect and to ensure that the order is delivered
on time.
Except where the selling florist has indicated
that there be no substitution, Petals members will
always give priority in decreasing order of importance
to:
(1) delivery time of the order, followed by
(2) colour preferences, followed by
(3) the overall style of the arrangement, followed
by
(4) specific flower varieties.
Flowers of a similar shape, size and value but
different type and colour may be used if other flowers
in the arrangement substitute for that colour and
the overall effect of the arrangement is maintained.
In arrangements of a single flower variety (eg
rose bouquet), the flower variety will take precedence
over colour.
Petals recommends that Members encourage their customers
to indicate a second choice in their order description
to allow for any difficulty in supplying the order
to exact specification.
Orders must always be done to the full retail value
of the order.

Cost |

Delivery and Handling to an Australian
address is $16.
This will be added to the value of your flowers/gift
after you select the 'buy' button.

| Same
Day Delivery |
|
Same day delivery by an Petals Florist
is available from Australia to Australia on orders
placed before 2:30p.m. in the recipient's time zone,
Monday through Friday.
Saturday we can offer Same Day delivery before 10:30am.
The exception is orders to remote or difficult deliveries.
Petals Network can usually deliver international orders
within 48 hours but we are bound by the operating
guidelines of our international partners.

| Timed
Deliveries |
|
While we offer customers the opportunity
to nominate a preferred time of delivery, including
"as soon as possible" (ASAP),
it is not possible to guarantee that these times
will be achieved. Petals Network uses a
network of local florists around the world to deliver
flowers so that you get the freshest possible gift.
Consequently, there are often local reasons why
an order can not be delivered within your preferred
time frame.
We suggest you restrict your requests to AM or
PM delivery or ASAP if that is important to you.
Such deliveries can only be made during local business
hours.
Also, it is usually possible though not guaranteed
to delivery on a Saturday up to noon. It is not
usually possible to delivery on Saturday afternoon
or Sunday or on national public holidays.
If the flowers are for a timed event like a funeral,
the florists will do their best to assist. However,
we strongly recommend that you give an alternative
address so the flowers can be delivered there if
too late for the timed event.
If a delivery should not be made after a certain
time (for example, if the recipient is leaving the
hotel), please either provide an alternative delivery
address within the same delivery area or advise
that the order should be cancelled in the NOTES
section at the bottom of an order form.
Note that if alternative delivery address are in
a different area, and therefore requiring the services
of a different florist, Petals may not be able to
assist with the redirection.

| Recipient
"Not at Home" & Non-Deliveries |
|
Recipient "Not
at Home"
Petals Network and its Members are not responsible
for deliveries if the recipient is not at the location
at the time of delivery. As the customer, you must
make sure that the recipient will be at the location
on the date given on the order form.
If there is a contact phone number on the order
form the supplying florist may contact the recipient
to check if they are at the location before they
attempt to deliver the gift. If there is no phone
number provided on the order form the supplying
florist will attempt to deliver the gift on the
specified delivery date.
If the recipient is not at the location when the
delivery is made, the supplying florist will try
to leave a "not at home" card at the recipient's
location, that explains the situation and asks the
recipient to contact the supplying florist.
Petals Network and its Members will do their utmost
to deliver the gift at a later date if the recipient
replies to the "not at home" card. Additional
delivery charges may apply if the supplying florist
has to deliver the gift more than once. Alternatively,
the recipient may have to collect the order at the
florist premise
Non-Deliveries
Petals Network and its members will try their best
to deliver any gift but we do not guarantee the delivery
of any product if one of the following occurs
- Recipient refuses to accept delivery of the
gift
- Address provided is incorrect
- Occupants are not at the location and do not
respond to the "not at home" card left
by our florist
If one of these instances occurs, we may judge
that the delivery has been made.

| Policy
on Alcohol Purchases |
|
The laws regarding the sending
of Alcohol with a purchase of flowers is very complicated.
So, for the following reasons, we do not guarantee
the delivery of Alcohol.
Because we cannot guarantee the recipient of the
gift is over the legal age in that state or country,
Because of certain religious beliefs the recipient
may have,
Because of Country or State laws that prohibit
the sending of Alcohol,
Because of Country or State laws that require our
Florists to require a licence to send Alcohol with
the purchase of Flowers
If you place an order that includes Alcohol and
we are not able to deliver the Alcohol because of
one or more of the reasons given above, our florists
will replace the Alcohol with an equal value of
flowers or gift items that suit your order. You
will not be advised of this replacement.
If you wish, you can nominate a second preference
when ordering in case the gift with alcohol can
not be provided.
